Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms of Use is to specify in detail the general conditions for membership and use by users of the services provided on the website operated by the Korean College of Helicobacter and Upper Gastrointestinal Research (KCHUGR).

Article 2 (Validity and Amendment of the Terms of Use)

(1) These Terms of Use shall take effect upon being publicly posted online on the website of the KCHUGR and may be amended within the limits not in violation of relevant laws and regulations for reasonable causes. Amendment shall take effect upon being publicly posted online, and amendments to important provisions including users’ rights and obligations shall be announced in advance.
(2) The KCHUGR reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use for reasonable causes, and any such amendments shall be promptly announced
(3) Agreeing to these Terms of Use implies the user’s commitment to regularly visit the ‘website’ to check for any changes in the Terms of Use. The KCHUGR shall not be held responsible for harm incurred by users who are not aware of changes in the Terms of Use
(4) Users may request membership withdrawal (termination) if they do not agree to the amendment of the Terms of Use. If users continue to use the service more than 7 days after the effective dates of the amendment, they will be considered as having agreed to the changes in the Terms of Use.

Article 3 (Supplementary Rules beyond the Terms of Use)

(1) For matters not specified in these Terms of Use, the intent of the terms for each service (including guidance provided on the website), the Framework Act on Telecommunications, the Telecommunications Business Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, and other relevant laws of the Republic of Korea shall apply.
(2) In cases of discrepancies between these Terms of Use and the terms for each service, the terms specific to each service shall prevail and be applied.

Article 4 (Definition of Terms)

(1) The definitions of terms used in the Terms of Use are as follows:

1. "Service" refers to the internet-based services provided to users through the website of the KCHUGR. The KCHUGR may add, modify, or delete each of these services unless limited by other terms and conditions or other laws.
2. "User" means an individual who has been granted user qualifications for the services of the KCHUGR by the KCHUGR
3. "User account (ID)" (hereinafter, 'account') refers to a combination of letters and numbers chosen by the user and approved by the KCHUGR for the user's identification and service usage.
4. "User account information" (hereinafter, 'account information') refers to user information known to the KCHUGR, such as the user's account, password, name, address, and phone number, which the user provides when applying for an account or using the service.
5. "Password" (hereinafter, 'password') refers to a combination of letters and numbers given by the user for account verification and rights protection.
6. "Service agreement" refers to the contract concluded between the KCHUGR and the user regarding the use of the service.
7. "Termination" refers to the act of canceling the service agreement by the KCHUGR or the member.
8. "Post" refers to various forms of information, such as text, photos, videos, and various files, as well as links, posted by users on the service.

The definitions of terms used in these Terms of Use, except as defined in Paragraph 1, shall be governed by the relevant laws, general customs, service-specific terms and conditions, or policies.

Article 5 (Formation of the Service Agreement)

(1) The service agreement is formed when the user applies for the service after agreeing to the contents of these Terms of Use, and the KCHUGR approves the application details.

Article 6 (Application and Termination of Use)

(1) Users apply for the service by providing their information on the designated form specified by the KCHUGR.
(2) Users must provide their full legal name and accurate information when applying for the service in accordance with the provisions of Paragraph 1. Approval of use for users who apply for the service through unauthorized means, such as using third-party account information (account, password, etc.) or impersonating others, will be canceled, and they may be subject to penalties or disadvantages under relevant laws or this agreement.
(3) The KCHUGR shall not provide user information (including phone number, address, etc.) to third parties without the separate consent of the user as stipulated in Paragraph 1.
(4) Users may request withdrawal from the KCHUGR at any time, and the KCHUGR will promptly process such requests through the method notified by the KCHUGR through the website. However, in cases where identity verification is required due to reasons such as notifying through the website, submission of identification or documents designated by the KCHUGR for identity verification may be requested.

Article 7 (Service Application)

(1) The KCHUGR approves service applications when the user provides the information required by the KCHUGR, along with clear full-legal-name authentication and personal information.
(2) The KCHUGR may reject service applications or cancel approvals or terminate service contracts later for service applications that fall under any of the following conditions:

1. If the provided name is not real
2. If the application is made using the name or identity of a third party, or through forgery
3. If the information provided in the application is omitted or falsely stated
4. If approval is deemed impossible for reasons attributable to the user
5. If the user has received measures such as service suspension 3 or more times due to violations of these Terms of Use
6. If the user intends to use the service for improper purposes
7. If the user's application does not meet the criteria for service applications specified by the KCHUGR
8. If the user intends to use the service for profit-seeking purposes
9. If the user has significantly violated various service operation policies announced on the website

(3) The KCHUGR may withhold approval until the reasons for withholding approval are resolved in any of the following cases:

1. When it is determined that the service equipment is insufficient to provide satisfactory service to all users
2. When there are technical obstacles related to service provision
3. In other cases where it is difficult for the KCHUGR to approve due to inevitable reasons

Article 8 (Protection and Use of Personal Information)

(1) The KCHUGR makes efforts to protect users' personal information, including account information, in accordance with the relevant laws. The protection and use of users' personal information are subject to the relevant laws and the KCHUGR's privacy policy.
(2) The KCHUGR's privacy policy does not apply to external sites linked on the website.
(3) In accordance with the relevant laws, the KCHUGR may provide personal information to government agencies or public institutions when requested.
(4) The KCHUGR is not responsible for information exposed due to the user's own actions.

Article 9 (Acceptance and Restriction of Service Application)

(1) The KCHUGR in principle approves service usage based on the order of receipt unless there is an impediment in business or technology performance for the service application customers.

Article 10 (Account Assignment and Modifications)

(1) The KCHUGR shall assign accounts to users in accordance with the Terms of Use.
(2) Accounts are principally non-changeable, and if necessary, modifications must be initiated by terminating the current account and reapplying.
(3) During the period of service use, users may not request changes to approved accounts. However, should the KCHUGR request the alteration of a user's account due to vital reasons, such as providing more efficient services to users, or for the sake of integration with other services in terms of the KCHUGR’s service operations or planning, users are required to comply with such requests.
(4) Accounts may be changed at the request of KCHUGR in the following circumstances:

1. Content that may cause discomfort to other users or violates public morals
2. Content that might be misinterpreted as being operated by a service administrator
3. Content that quotes specific individuals or their names in a manner that may insult or humiliate them
4. Content deemed to be slang or obscenity
5. Other reasonable grounds

(5) The KCHUGR shall perform all member management tasks, including determining whether each user may use the service based on the user's account information.
(6) Users are solely responsible for managing their accounts and passwords. Any losses incurred due to negligence in managing their account or password, as well as unauthorized use by third parties, shall be the sole responsibility of the member, and the KCHUGR shall bear no responsibility in such cases.
(7) For other matters related to user information management and changes, users can access a separate menu within the service page to view the page for managing their personal information. From this page, they can review and edit their personal information at any time. However, certain necessary items such as full legal names and IDs cannot be modified for service management purposes.

Article 11 (Password)

(1) The password is a matter chosen by the user, and the user can change it at any time for security reasons or any other reason. However, when requested by the KCHUGR, the user must undergo identity verification or submit documents for identity confirmation as requested by the KCHUGR.
(2) The user is responsible for managing the password. The user is responsible for any damages incurred due to the user's negligence in managing the password or unauthorized use by third parties, and the KCHUGR is not responsible for this.
(3) For urgent security reasons to protect the user's information, the KCHUGR may request the user to change the password. In such a case, the user must change the password for the account owned by the user on the first login after the date requested by KCHUGR.

Article 12 (Management of Posts)

(1) Any loss or liability arising from the posts (including communication among members) made by members is entirely the responsibility of each member. Unless intentionally caused by the KCHUGR, the KCHUGR is not responsible for such loss or liability.
(2) The KCHUGR values the posts of users and makes every effort to protect them from alteration, damage, or deletion. However, the KCHUGR reserves the right to delete, move, or refuse to register the following posts or materials without prior notice and may apply certain measures according to the service operation policy to the user who posted them:

1. Content that severely defames other users or third parties or damages their reputation.
2. Content containing explicit material or links to explicit websites.
3. Content that infringes upon any rights, including copyrights and intellectual property rights, of the KCHUGR or third parties.
4. Content that promotes violations of public order and standards of morality or links to such content.
5. Content that encourages illegal reproduction or hacking.
6. Content that serves a commercial purpose, such as advertising.
7. Content that violates the KCHUGR's post principles or is not suitable for the nature of the forum.
8. Content that interferes with the normal operation of the KCHUGR or its services.
9. Content that exceeds the post duration set by the KCHUGR.
10. Any content that is deemed to be in violation of the terms and relevant laws.

(3) If, based on the infringement of legal interests due to the user's posts, other users or third parties take legal actions (e.g., filing a complaint, applying for an injunction, filing a claim for damages) against the user or the KCHUGR, or request the removal of the posts related to such legal actions, the KCHUGR may temporarily restrict access to the relevant posts until the final outcome of such legal actions (e.g., indictment by the prosecutor, court's injunction decision, damages verdict).

Article 13 (Ownership of Intellectual Property Rights and Use Restriction)

Intellectual Property Rights in Posts

(1) Copyrights and other intellectual property rights of works created by the KCHUGR belong to the KCHUGR.
(2) Users grant the KCHUGR the right to use, without any cost and without limitation, the following acts related to the posts they create or the data included in the posts:

1. Reproduction, modification, adaptation, exhibition, distribution, publication, deletion, public transmission (including transmission and broadcasting), editing, and creation of derivative works and edited works of posts within the service.
2. Reproduction, modification, adaptation, exhibition, distribution, publication, and creation of derivative works and edited works of posts within related web services provided by the KCHUGR.
3. Use in service advertisements, reproduction, modification, adaptation, distribution, exhibition, public transmission (including transmission and broadcasting), and editing, and providing to third parties, etc.
4. Providing the content of members' posts to media, telecommunications companies, service affiliates, etc., to be used for purposes of advertising. However, in this case, the KCHUGR cannot provide personal information of members except for their ID.

(3) Users shall not process, reproduce, publicly transmit (including transmission and broadcasting), publish, distribute, release to the public, or provide by other means, or allow others to process, reproduce, publicly transmit (including transmission and broadcasting), publish, distribute, release to the public, or provide by other means the works, including posts, created by the KCHUGR through services without the KCHUGR's prior written consent.
(4) If KCHUGR determines that the posts created by a user fall under the provisions of Article 14, Paragraph 3, each item, or if the KCHUGR receives a request to suspend posting due to infringement of copyrights and other rights of third parties or defamation, violation of public order and standards of decency, or other reasons, the KCHUGR may delete, move, or refuse to register such posts on other posting spaces without prior notice.
(5) Users are solely responsible for any civil or criminal liability arising from posts infringing on the intellectual property rights of third parties or any other rights, defamation, violation of standards of decency, and other issues.
(6) Users agree that the granting of rights under Paragraph 2 will remain effective for the duration of the KCHUGR's service operation and continue to be effective even after the user termination.

Intellectual Property Rights for Other Contents

(1) Ownership, usage rights, and other intellectual property rights related to videos, music, images, and other works provided to users through the KCHUGR's services belong to the KCHUGR, the copyright holder of the respective works, MCP (Master Contents Provider), CP (Contents Provider), and other right holders.
(2) Restrictions on Use of Intellectual Property Rights

1. Users shall not change, duplicate, post, transmit, link, distribute, or publish programs or other materials without legitimate authority or consent from the copyright holder of the programs, or change the true name or hide the true name of the author or change the title of the respective program and post/publish without permission from the KCHUGR. Users shall be held responsible for any damage or loss caused by violations of copyright, illegal acts, and other issues, without the legitimate authority granted by relevant laws and regulations.
2. Users shall not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the programs in the services beyond the range explicitly allowed by related laws and regulations.
3. Users shall not remove or alter any copyright notice in all programs and their copies provided by the services.
4. Users shall take full responsibility for any damage or loss caused by their mistakes or deliberate illegal acts related to the above paragraphs, and the KCHUGR will not be held responsible for any liability.

Article 14 (Content, Service, and Site Revision and Separation)

(1) The KCHUGR may add, modify, separate, or delete individual content or services included in this service at any time in order to provide high-quality service. In the case of matters that may cause serious disadvantages to users, the content will be announced in advance.
(2) The KCHUGR may revise or separate sites related to various services provided on a per-service basis as part of the Service. In this case, the KCHUGR will actively notify users, and users will receive the service on the revised or separated sites.

Article 15 (The KCHUGR's Obligations)

(1) The KCHUGR makes efforts to provide convenience to users in the process and content of user-related contract procedures such as the conclusion, modification, and termination of the use contract.
(2) The KCHUGR ensures that all user information, including account information, is not leaked from the service system managed by the KCHUGR and is not disclosed or provided to third parties. However, this does not apply in cases where it is legally requested for investigative purposes by related institutions or when requested by the Korea Communications Standards Commission, etc.
(3) Within the scope of Paragraph 1, the KCHUGR may create statistical data related to all or part of the user's personal information without the user's prior consent and may use it. For this purpose, the KCHUGR may transmit cookies to the user's computer. In this case, the user can refuse to receive cookies or change the settings of the computer browser used to warn against receiving cookies. It is the user's responsibility if changing cookie settings results in a change in service usage.
(4) Until the end of the service, the KCHUGR diligently conducts stability and issue testing.
(5) The KCHUGR makes efforts to provide continuous and stable service. Unless there is unavoidable reason and without the KCHUGR's fault, the KCHUGR will promptly repair or restore equipment with faults or losses and will not be responsible for any service interruptions caused thereby.
(6) The KCHUGR builds a security system for the protection of personal information and publicly announces and complies with the personal information handling policy.
(7) If opinions or complaints submitted by users are objectively acknowledged as legitimate, the KCHUGR will immediately address them in accordance with the KCHUGR's customer complaint processing guidelines. However, in cases where immediate resolution is difficult, the reasons and processing schedule may be notified to the user.

Article 16 (User Responsibilities)

(1) When applying for service use, users must provide all information accurately based on their full legal names when registering their accounts and must not provide false information. Registering false or another person's information means that the user cannot claim any rights, and no protection measures can be taken by the KCHUGR.
(2) Users must provide an email address and telephone number at the time of account registration so that the KCHUGR can notify users of necessary matters related to service use. If there are changes to the user's address, contact information, email address, or other information related to the usage agreement, the user must immediately inform the KCHUGR of these changes through the appropriate procedure. The KCHUGR is not responsible for any disadvantages arising from not accurately providing or reporting these changes.
(3) Users must comply with the provisions specified in these Terms of Use, other regulations established by the KCHUGR, announcements, and other matters announced by the KCHUGR, and related laws and regulations. Users must not engage in actions that interfere with the KCHUGR's operations or damage the KCHUGR's reputation.
(4) Users may not conduct business activities using the service without the prior approval of the KCHUGR, and the KCHUGR is not responsible for the results of such business activities. In addition, if the KCHUGR incurs damages due to these business activities, the user is obligated to compensate the KCHUGR, and the KCHUGR may restrict service usage and claim damages through legal procedures against the user.
(5) Users may not transfer or gift their rights to use the service, or their position under the usage agreement, to a third party, or use them as collateral, without the explicit consent of the KCHUGR.
(6) If users discover bugs while using the service, they have an obligation to immediately inform the KCHUGR using the email address provided on the website, allowing for corrections. If users misuse such information continuously without reporting it to the KCHUGR and disrupt the order within the service, the KCHUGR may impose sanctions on the user.

Article 17 (Service Availability)

(1) Service use is generally available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, unless there are technical difficulties on the part of the KCHUGR. However, the KCHUGR may temporarily suspend services at the times or dates set by the KCHUGR for system regular maintenance, expansion, or replacement, and any planned service interruptions due to these activities will be announced in advance on the website.
(2) The KCHUGR may temporarily suspend services without prior notice due to urgent system maintenance, expansion, replacement, or other compelling reasons. Additionally, the KCHUGR may completely discontinue the provision of existing services and switch to new services as deemed appropriate.
(3) In the event that the normal provision of services is impossible due to a state of national emergency, power outages, equipment failures, excessive use of services, or other circumstances, the KCHUGR may limit or suspend all or part of the services. However, in such cases, the KCHUGR will notify users in advance or after the fact about the reasons and duration of such actions.
(4) The KCHUGR may specify separate usage hours for different service ranges if necessary and will announce these details.
(5) The KCHUGR may conduct regular maintenance if necessary for the provision of services, and the timing of such maintenance will be in accordance with what is announced on the website.
(6) Services may be terminated in the event of uncontrollable circumstances, including the KCHUGR's overall situation.

Article 18 (Costs)

The use of the service is free of charge in principle.

Article 19 (Service Suspension and Contract Termination)

(1) In the event that a user requests the termination of their service contract within a certain period after registering as a new user, the processing of such termination may be delayed due to reasons such as preventing unauthorized use of the service.
(2) The KCHUGR may retain the personal information of a member for up to 1 year from the date of termination of the service contract in order to prevent the unauthorized use of bad users. In addition, the KCHUGR may retain the user's personal information for 30 days from the date of termination of the service contract to prepare for cases where the user's service contract is terminated against their will due to reasons caused by third parties, irresistible circumstances, or other reasons.

Article 20 (Disclaimer)

(1) Except as otherwise provided in these Terms of Use, the KCHUGR does not represent, approve, or modify any opinions or information posted on the service, and the KCHUGR does not take responsibility for the opinions expressed by service users or third parties.
(2) The KCHUGR does not assume responsibility for the truth, reliability, accuracy, or content of any data or information submitted or received by customers through the service.
(3) The KCHUGR is exempt from responsibility for providing services in the event of force majeure, war, or other circumstances beyond its control.
(4) The KCHUGR is exempt from responsibility for damages incurred due to necessary maintenance, replacement, regular inspections, construction, and other circumstances announced in advance regarding service equipment.
(5) The KCHUGR is not responsible for service interruptions or damages caused by the user's fault during service use.
(6) The KCHUGR is not responsible for damages caused by user computer errors or network environments without the KCHUGR's fault or due to incomplete registration of personal information by the member.
(7) The KCHUGR is not responsible for any damages resulting from the user's failure to obtain the benefits expected from using the service or for any damages arising from the user's choice or use of the service.
(8) The KCHUGR is not responsible for any damages resulting from the user's reliance on information, data, or facts posted by users through the service.
(9) The KCHUGR is not responsible for mediating disputes arising between users or between users and third parties through the service, and the KCHUGR is not obligated to compensate for any damages arising from such disputes.
(10) The KCHUGR is not responsible for any damages related to the use of free services provided to users by the KCHUGR.
(11) In cases where service use is disrupted by overcrowding or other reasons, the KCHUGR is exempt from responsibility for service provision.

Article 21 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

(1) The governing law for disputes arising in relation to these Terms of Use and this agreement is the law of the Republic of Korea.
(2) In the event of a lawsuit regarding disputes under these Terms of Use, the court determined by the jurisdiction provisions of the Civil Procedure Act shall be the competent court.

The Korean College of Helicobacter and Upper Gastrointestinal Research (KCHUGR), in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act, has established the following privacy policy to protect and uphold the rights of users and to efficiently handle user complaints related to personal information.

The KCHUGR will notify users of any amendments to the Privacy Policy through website announcements (or individual notices).

This policy is effective June 19, 2017.

1. Purpose of Processing Personal Information적

   The KCHUGR processes personal information for the following purposes. The processed personal information will not be used for purposes other than those listed below, and in the event of a change in the purpose of use, prior consent will be obtained.

   A. Website Membership Registration and Management
   Personal information is processed for the purpose of confirming the intention to join as a member, verifying one's identity, providing member-exclusive services, maintaining and managing member qualifications, sending various notices and notifications, and handling complaints.
   B. Handling of Complaints and Inquiries
   Personal information is processed for the purpose of contacting and notifying individuals for factual investigations and communicating processing results.
   C. Provision of Goods or Services
   Personal information is processed for the purpose of payment and settlement, among other things.

3. Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information

   The KCHUGR processes and retains personal information within the personal information retention and usage period stipulated by the law or consent obtained from the data subject at the time of collecting personal information. The specific processing and retention periods for each type of personal information are as follows:

   (1) Website Membership Signup and Management
   Personal information related to 'Website Membership Signup and Management' is retained and used for the purposes specified until promptly disposed of from the date of consent for collection and usage.
     - Basis for retention: for the management of KCHUGR membership
     - Relevant Laws and Regulations :
   1) Records related to consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years
   2) Records related to payment and supply of goods and services: 5 years
     - Exception: upon the request of the member

4. Matters Regarding the Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

   The KCHUGR provides personal information to third parties only in cases where it is stipulated by the Personal Information Protection Act, Article 17 and 18, such as data subject's consent or special legal provisions. Personal information is not provided to third parties separately.

5. Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing

   The KCHUGR entrusts the processing of personal information for efficient handling of personal information-related tasks as follows:

   • Details of the Entrusted Task: online member information management
   • Period of Entrustment: until the completion of the operational contract

   The KCHUGR, in accordance with Article 25 of the Personal Information Protection Act, specifies in documents such as contracts the prohibition of personal information processing beyond the intended scope of the outsourced tasks, technical and administrative protective measures, restrictions on re-outsourcing, supervision and management of the entrusted entity, and liability for damages, while also ensuring that the entrusted securely handles personal information. When the content of entrusted tasks or the entity entrusted changes, we will promptly disclose such changes through this Privacy Policy.

6. Rights, Duties, and Methods of Exercising Rights by Data Subjects

   Users, as data subjects, have the following rights:

   ① Data subjects can exercise the following personal information protection-related rights at any time with respect to the KCHUGR

   1) Request to access personal information
   2) Request for correction if there are errors
   3) Request for deletion
   4) Request for processing to be suspended

   ② The exercise of rights under paragraph 1 can be carried out in writing, by e-mail, facsimile transmission (FAX), or other methods as prescribed in Form 8 of the Enforcement Rule of the Personal Information Protection Act.
   ③ If a data subject requests the correction or deletion of personal information due to errors, the KCHUGR will not use or provide the relevant personal information until the correction or deletion is completed.
   ④ Data subjects may exercise their rights under paragraph 1 through legal representatives or agents authorized by the data subject. In this case, a power of attorney in accordance with Form 11 of the Enforcement Rule of the Personal Information Protection Act must be submitted.
   ⑤ ⑤ Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Personal Information Automatic Collection Devices.

   A. What are Cookies?

   • The company operates 'cookies' that store and retrieve your information frequently. A cookie is a very small text file sent by the server that operates the company's website to your browser and is stored on your computer's hard disk. When you visit the website later, the website server uses the contents of the cookie stored on your hard disk to maintain your preferences and provide customized services.
   • Cookies do not automatically or actively collect information that identifies individuals, and you can refuse or delete these cookies at any time.

8. Disposal of Personal Information

   The KCHUGR generally disposes of personal information without delay once the purpose of processing is achieved. The procedure, period, and method of disposal are as follows:

   • Disposal Procedure
     Information provided by users is transferred to a separate database (or in the case of paper, separate documents) after the purpose is achieved, and it is stored for a certain period in accordance with internal policies and other relevant laws. Afterward, it is either disposed of immediately. Personal information transferred to the database is not used for any other purpose unless required by law.
   • Disposal Period
     When the personal information of users has reached the end of the retention period, it is disposed of within 5 days from the end of the retention period. If personal information becomes unnecessary due to the achievement of the processing purpose, termination of the service in question, or the cessation of the business, it is considered unnecessary, and the information is disposed of within 5 days from the date when it is recognized as such.
   • Disposal Method
     Personal information printed on paper is disposed of through shredding or incineration.
9. Security Measures for Personal Information

   The KCHUGR takes the following technical, managerial, and physical measures to ensure security according to Article 29 of the Personal Information Protection Act:

   A. Minimization of Personal Information Handling Staff and Education
   We designate personnel to handle personal information and limit them to authorized personnel, thus minimizing the management of personal information.
   B. Regular Internal Audits
   To ensure the security of personal information handling, we conduct regular internal audits (quarterly).
   C. Establishment and Implementation of an Internal Management Plan
   To ensure the secure processing of personal information, we establish and implement an internal management plan.
   D. Encryption of Personal Information
   User's personal information is stored and managed with encryption for password protection, ensuring that only the individual can access it. Important data is further secured through additional security features such as file encryption and file locking.
   E. Technical Measures Against Hacking
   To prevent the leakage and damage of personal information due to hacking, computer viruses, and other threats, we install security programs and regularly update and inspect them. We also establish systems in controlled areas that are monitored and blocked both technologically and physically.
   F. Access Control for Personal Information
   We grant, change, and revoke access permissions to databases that handle personal information to control access. We use intrusion prevention systems to control unauthorized external access.
   G. Use of Locking Mechanisms for Document Security
   Documents and storage media containing personal information are stored in secure places with locking mechanisms.

    The KCHUGR ('www.hpylori.or.kr') takes overall responsibility for personal information processing. To address complaints and provide remedies related to personal information processing, the KCHUGR has designated the following Personal Information Protection Manager:

13. Changes to Privacy Policy

    This Privacy Policy is effective from the date of implementation. In the event of any additions, deletions, or corrections to the contents as required by laws and policies, notice of such changes will be made through announcements at least 7 days before the changes take effect.
